DEBTORS CLERK
A national company based in Epping is looking for an experienced debtor’s clerk. Candidates must have a minimum of ten years job related experience. Computer literacy is essential, including Word, Outlook and Excel. Pastel experience will be an advantage. Minimum requirement is Matric and Credit management 1&2 will be advantageous. Strong account reconciliation abilities are required along with good communication skills, both written and spoken. Experience in a manufacturing environment will be a distinct advantage and fluency in English and Afrikaans is essential. The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, ensuring outstanding amounts are collected, reconciling accounts, signing off the release of goods when required, ensuring the correct procedures are adhered to when opening new accounts, as well as company procedures and policies are followed and providing a schedule of expected receipts on a regular basis. Own transport is essential. This position requires a confident team player who has the ability to work independently.
